SUMMARY:Mohican River Canoe Race
DESCRIPTION:Down river race on the Mohican River. The race start at the intersection of St Rt 3 and Wally Road (1 mile south of downtown Loudonville). \nThe race finishes 9 miles downstream at Mohican Wilderness. \nPoint to point race \n(If you get there early enough you can organize to drop your car off at the finish) \n  \nFlyer : .2026_FLYERMohican \n  \n\n \n  \nTIME: Races start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Mass starts will be utilized when feasible\, otherwise\, race against the clock. Those wanting to enter more than one class will be accommodated if time and river conditions permit. \nLOCATION: Mohican Wilderness\, on Mohican River. Located on Wally Road off St Rt 3. 9 miles south of Loudonville. See map below. \nREGISTRATION: Registration at the race start at 10:00 A.M.\nTIME: Race Starts at 10:30 A.M\nFEE: $6.00 per entrant to USCA members; $8.00 per entrant to non-USCA members; scouts are free.\nRULES: USCA rules will govern where applicable. Ohio Division/USCA Arbitration Committee will be available. \nCANOE RENTALS: Standard stock 17′ Michicraft aluminum canoe or Old Town Polyethylene canoe may be rented for $8.00 per race with no transportation. $16.00 per race with transportation. Canoers must follow the camp transport time schedule. Contact the race sponsor. \nCAMPING: Rates are per family per site.
